Classroom
1. Identify a "peaceful" space in your classroom-not your desk! Quietly go there while students are engaged or the room is empty and for 10 seconds, reflect on a happy memory.
2. Create a folder of funny or nice notes or feedback from students, parents, administrators and read it from time to time.
3. Take mental pauses with students and participate in the "Four Corner" breathing technique.
4. When planning, include stretch time in the lesson.
5. Place an "I Wish" box in your classroom. You and students can put wishes in the box and from time to time, take a break and pull out a wish.
6. Softly play music to support lesson.
7. Be sure to get out at least during the week (e.g., go to the school library and just sit, step outside for fresh air, etc.).
8. Connect with positive co-workers at least twice during the week.
9. Make your favorite food meal for lunch
10. Learn to say "No."
